Where to park at SAN
Each terminal has a parking plaza across the road, and reserving a space ahead of time is possible.
Terminal 1 Parking Plaza
Directly across from Terminal 1, for short-term and daily parking. The airport lists hourly rates of $3 per 15 minutes, with a daily maximum of $40.
Terminal 2 Parking Plaza
Directly across from Terminal 2, with the same hourly and daily rates. If you park at the Terminal 1 plaza but fly from Terminal 2, take the Inter-Terminal Shuttle from the Terminal 1 curb.
Valet
Available at the curbside entrances of both terminals for drop-off and pick-up.
- Reserve your spot up to 30 days ahead on the airport website. Do not pay at the lot pay stations if you have a reservation, because you will be charged twice.
- Curbside parking is not permitted at the airport. Use the cell phone lot if you are meeting someone at arrivals.
