Moving between terminals
MKE has two concourses, C and D, each with its own checkpoint. If you connect between them, you leave the secure area, walk through the main terminal, and go through screening again. Allow extra time for that.

Amtrak Hiawatha shuttle
Free shuttle buses between the terminal and the Milwaukee Airport Rail Station at 5601 S. 6th Street, running every 5 to 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. Board at baggage claim Door 5 and ask the driver to drop you at the rail station. The station is open 5:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 7:15 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
