Checkpoints and tips
Spokane has one consolidated security checkpoint in the main terminal. It opens at 3:45 a.m. daily and stays open until the last flight of the day boards. TSA PreCheck is available, and CLEAR is not.
- A REAL ID is required to board domestic flights. Check whether your driver's license is REAL ID compliant before you arrive.
- The TSA PreCheck enrollment center is in the terminal, and enrollment takes about 10 minutes. The PreCheck office will be closed on Friday, October 16, 2026, with no walk-ins or appointments accepted that day.
- Keep liquids in a quart-sized clear bag, each container 3.4 ounces or less. Have your laptop and large electronics ready to remove from your bag.
- GEG is an origin and destination airport, so early mornings are the busiest. Arrive at least two hours before your flight.
