In Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico, next to the Isla Verde beach hotel district and roughly 10 miles from Old San Juan.
Luis Munoz Marin International is Puerto Rico's main airport and has several concourses named Terminals A, B, C and D. Terminal A, on the west side, has its own check-in counters, TSA checkpoint and baggage claim and is used mainly by JetBlue. Terminal B is the shared check-in hall and baggage claim for flights using Concourses B, C and D.
Flights from the U.S. mainland are domestic, so a passport is not needed, but U.S. Department of Agriculture inspectors screen all passenger bags leaving Puerto Rico for the mainland. Expect an agricultural inspection step on your way out and declare any fruit, plants or pork products.
Construction is ongoing. In 2026 the airport opened a pedestrian bridge between the multilevel garage and Terminal A, and a Terminal A rehabilitation and parking expansion are planned. Check the airport website for current construction notices.
