Bradley International Airport is in the middle of a $250 million expansion. A new Ground Transportation Center is now open, a concourse extension with three gates was completed in early 2026, and the main security checkpoint gained two added lanes in September 2026.
Escape Lounge is the only lounge in the airport, located past security near Gate 1. Free public Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal.
Main airlines: American, Breeze, Delta, Southwest and United operate most of the scheduled service, with additional low-cost and seasonal airlines.

A new 80,000-square-foot facility that adds three gates, along with new restrooms, seating, storefronts and a second nursing room.
Two new exit corridors on the east and west sides of the terminal lead to baggage claim, rental cars, shuttles and ground transportation.

Terminal A has two main concourses and the new concourse extension, all reached after security. Two security checkpoints lead to the departure concourses, one at each end of the terminal. Check which checkpoint serves your concourse before you walk.
All rental car services are now in the Ground Transportation Center, within a short walk of the terminal. The new facility replaces the off-airport rental car lots, so you no longer need a shuttle.
Rideshare pickups are located at the Ground Transportation Center, the airport's central hub for rental cars, buses and rideshare.
The Ground Transportation Center has a dedicated area for buses. The airport says it will connect to the CTrail line and regional bus services in the future, so check the Public Transportation page for current options.

Yes. Escape Lounge is past security near Gate 1, open daily from 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., with $45 pre-booked or $60 walk-up entry.
